Hello everyone, apologies for this late post. I honestly almost forgot about the anniversary of this site. It's quite odd how running this site has almost become a routine nowadays, like a DAEMON running in the background, stepping in to create the post. Now I won't say it's easy, since coming up with subjects is its own challenge, trying to balance knowledge and experience.

Anyways, dang, we made it two years. And yeah, WE, not me, even if a single person reads this in passing, I truly hope this journey I'm documenting is keeping you going, since the path to success is paved by the individuals who haven't given up.

Let's break out the time machine and see how this past year went.

Looking back:

The past year of the blog, we have really put our nose to the grindstone. Mind you, this is from May to May, a year of blog time.

This past year I was able to conquer the following exams:

  1. (CPTS) - Certified Penetration Testing Specialist
  2. (CRTO) - Certified Red Team Operator
  3. (CRTL) - Certified Red Team Lead

Not many last year, but that CPTS was a heck of a beast!

During the year I also completed several box walkthroughs, which helped drill down the foundational methodology while helping me learn a few new methods of thinking.

  • "DEFCON 33" - A summary of my first DefCon experience.
  • "Daemon Time With Lee" - An interview with my original mentor.
  • "Large Liability Model" - Discussing the liability LLMs bring.
  • "Paying the Piper" - A brief talk on failing the CPTS and how to handle failure.
  • "Sliver C2: Pentesting and Evasion (Course review)" - Review of the Sliver C2 course.
  • "Hack The Box (Platform Review)" - Review of Hack The Box as a whole.
  • "Soft skill the true necessity" - Discussion regarding the importance of soft skills.
  • "Goodbye TryHackMe" - A talk on why I left the TryHackMe platform.
  • "The Shift, Not the Risk" - Discussion on the AI evolution to date.

The Future:

The past year has been phenomenal, and I'm thankful for the ability to share my ideas and journey with everyone. I know this next year is already set to be a heck of a year. I can't give out too much, but expect some big things to come in the future.
